28 Aug BE ORIGINAL BE YOU EVENT

I have been to a few blogger events but this one really was a blast! BE ORIGINAL BE YOU was organized by ECE Group which manage Germany’s most popular malls like for example Potsdamer Platz Arkaden or Tempehofer Hafen. Not only are these malls great to shop in but they offer exciting and very cool restaurants and bars to hang out in. The event started off at the Potsdamer Platz where we all met and had a lovely cocktail at the beach bar near there. After an exciting tour through Potsdamer Platz Arkaden on segways (which I swear was so much fun, although I constantly thought I’d fall off the segway) we drove to Tempelhofer Hafen in an oldtimer bus with delicious Thomas Henry Tonic in our hands.

Just when I thought it couldn’t get any better we arrived at our main location Tempelhofer Hafen at Pier 13. A beautiful location in the middle of Berlin – a restaurant / bar on an island surrounded by water. We were greeted with more cocktails by Bulleit – wow I can only recommend them! Hookie Co. a thriving motorcycle craft brand showcased one of their amazing coffee racers and hosted a little presentation explaining how they started off and of course how they manage to stay true and original! Perfectly fitting the motto of the day: #beoriginalbeyou

I met amazing bloggers and Instagrammers like @iamdavyjones or @hakanberryfin and had a blast socializing at the event. The weather was just perfect and I even got my make up all refreshed by beautiful Katja Maaßen!
